Finally Found
The search teams and FBI agents worked for hours in the heat and humidity on Thursday and Friday. The environment was also rough, hazardous, and snake-infested. The cops were all about to go out into the wilderness and try their luck again when one of their neighbors brought the news they had been waiting for: Charlee had been discovered! She was not, however, alone. The first sigh of relief came from the man who had discovered her initially – Wayne Brown. He remembered how he had been sitting on his sofa, praying for Charlee’s return. It was then that he noticed a blonde-haired female roaming about in his backyard.

A Surprise
Brown described the little girl’s looks when he saw her to the police in detail. “I saw the filth on her and the leaves in her hair, and I opened the door and said, ‘Are you Charlee?'” ‘She then handed me this bottle.’ ‘Are you Charlee?’ I asked. ‘She didn’t respond. She refused to say anything.” He was surprised, though, that she was not the only one who emerged from the bushes.
