It was high time that Jake the puppy went home. Mrs. Nabors got in touch with the mother to pick up the dog from school so that he could return to his water, food, and puppy pan. However, this teacher had to make a decision before he left.

Mrs. Nabors knew that the upcoming book fair still needed a mascot. After what happened, it looked like Jake was popular among this improvised focus group. The cute puppy ended up becoming the mascot. They also used the slogan, “Paws for a Good Book.” It was a nice personal touch to the event!
