NFL player Devon Still of the Cincinnati Bengals shared a video of him and his daughter on their way to her cancerous tumor removal surgery. In the viral video, he pumped her up and asked for a fist bump. Actually, the viral clip boosted his jersey sales. Now, surely, this star has a more than decent health insurance policy for his daughter Leah, but the money wasn’t for purchasing a better health insurance plan. In fact, the NFL Cincinnati shop donated the over $1.3 million to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Speaking of health insurance and hospitals, next up is another emotional story about someone suffering from health problems. When Chris Strouth heard he needed a kidney transplant after living with kidney disease for three full years, he took to Twitter. He wrote, “[Expletive], I need a kidney.” Just a few days after that post, 19 people contacted him and offered to get tested. Then, an old friend of Strouth’s, Scott Pakudaitis discovered he was a match and decided to donate his kidney. Afterwards, Scott also tweeted a get well message to his dear friend on Twitter, naturally.
