NFL player Devon Still of the Cincinnati Bengals shared a video of him and his daughter on their way to her cancerous tumor removal surgery. In the viral video, he pumped her up and asked for a fist bump. Actually, the viral clip boosted his jersey sales. Now, surely, this star has a more than decent health insurance policy for his daughter Leah, but the money wasn’t for purchasing a better health insurance plan. In fact, the NFL Cincinnati shop donated the over $1.3 million to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

When Chris Strouth heard he needed a kidney transplant after living with kidney disease for three full years, he took to Twitter. He wrote, “[Expletive], I need a kidney.” Just a few days after that post, 19 people contacted him and offered to get tested. Then, an old friend of Strouth’s, Scott Pakudaitis discovered he was a match and decided to donate his kidney. Afterwards, Scott also tweeted a get well message to his dear friend on Twitter, naturally.
